The title of the image is a borrow from Robert Earl Keen - the genius singer songwriter from Texas whom we sing along to whilst on the road in America
She is dressed in traditional attire for daily work: a handwoven dress designed to leave the shoulder bare (by 1900 many Hopi women were being encouraged by the government and missionaries to wear a calico slip under the dress so that their arms and shoulders were covered)
the more I was disappointed by my “in flight” work – I struggled to do the wings justice
The configuration of the spray and the shape of the water was always going to be random
The distribution of content works here and there was quite a bit to fit in
