We have done a video changing the headlight glass on the Discovery 3 and its actually quite easy as the adhesive softens at around 50 Deg C ( see below video )

This part is located in the recess on the rear bumper which is underneath the rear light cluster

The good news is Land Rover designed the rear bumper of the Defender to be modular - it is made of different sections clipped together so if damaged you do not need to replace the whole bumper

This tool also fits the fans on many other Land Rover vehicles and is essential for any workshop working on Land Rovers
