Trustees Unlimited — home of our flagship programme Step on Board — is thrilled to announce that we’ve officially been recertified as a B Corporation! This marks a significant milestone as we remain part of the global movement of businesses committed to using their influence to create positive, lasting change.
B Corps meet the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility, balancing purpose with profit and striving to use business as a force for good. Certification is awarded by B Lab following a rigorous assessment across five key areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. To qualify, companies must score at least 80 points on the B Impact Assessment and we’re proud to have exceeded that threshold.
As of 2025, the UK is home to more than 2,500 certified B Corps, employing over 125,600 people.
This recertification is much more than a badge — it reflects how we work at Trustees Unlimited and through Step on Board: championing inclusive leadership, upholding strong governance, and supporting impactful change across civil society.
